Rajbiraj: Dr. CK Raut, the National Chairperson of the Janamat Party, has called for urgent action to address the recurring problems faced by farmers. Speaking at a party event in Rajbiraj, Saptari, he highlighted the challenges encountered by farmers in the Madhes region, particularly the lack of access to fertilizers during crop plantation. Dr. Raut emphasized the importance of resolving this issue promptly.

Terai, known for its fertile land, has immense potential for food production. However, to fully utilize this potential, he stressed the need for well-established irrigation facilities to enhance productivity. Dr. Raut expressed concern over the plight of farmers in Terai who struggle during the plantation period due to insufficient irrigation water.

Another pressing issue he raised was the syndicate system prevalent in the country, which hinders the establishment of large industries. Dr. Raut revealed his efforts to set up a chemical fertilizer factory in Nepal, receiving support from the Indian and German governments. He lauded India's positive response to this initiative.

Moreover, Dr. Raut highlighted the urgency of generating employment opportunities within the country. Addressing the issue of youth seeking work abroad, he advocated for creating jobs locally to deter the exodus of young talents seeking employment opportunities overseas.

In conclusion, Dr. CK Raut urged authorities to take immediate action in resolving the problems faced by farmers, emphasizing the importance of adequate access to fertilizers and the necessity of proper irrigation facilities. Additionally, he called for measures to dismantle the syndicate system and promote the establishment of large industries in Nepal. By focusing on creating employment opportunities domestically, the country can retain its skilled workforce and foster growth from within.
